... LAST week!
Unless someone else cancels, we are at capacity for the practice. Registration has been open since Christmas. It didn't fill up until a few days ago. Anyone applying up until a few days ago would have been in the practice. Newby or not, I can't put them on the list unless they send in a check. That's the bad news.
The good news is that there is plenty of room for everyone on Sunday. If you're new to this sport, this is where you want to start. We have an excellent novice coordinator who is there each and every Autox Sunday to help you get started. You can register here.

Luckily we run the event so we should be able to make it happen. I've spent weeks trying to get them to get their checks in. If we want to get new people in, perhaps WE need to adjust. Why I remember only getting TWO runs on a Championship
Sunday to make an afternoon work. I'll give up a run or whatever to make it work.
Sounds like we might get some rain wimp cancellations so hopefully it all works out.

While I appreciate the suggestions, they are best done in the executive board area. May we take this conversation to the existing "increasing participation" thread?

The list has been updated. Everyone who sent in a check is in. No one remains on the wait list.

Small change to the practice schedule. We will send the first car at 8:45am instead of 9:00am. We needed to build a few more minutes into the schedule to accommodate the parade lap (go back and read first post if you've forgotten).
At 4pm, the course set-up crew will reconvene to set up Sunday's course.
Thanks!
