Registration Suspended: The official close date is January 18 and registration may re-open before that date.
& I also see further down that George has an address to mail checks to, yet when I read the above copy & pasted text from the page , I naturally take it for what it says..
I suppose I can simply ignore it & sent in a check & see what happens...

Unfortunately, that statement is generated automatically by MSR if online registration is disabled and we can't change that. It only refers to online registration.
But right below the logos in bright red, all capital letters it says
====> NO ONLINE REGISTRATION <====
SEE NEXT PAGE FOR MAIL IN REGISTRATION INFORMATION
This is very common for practice events.

I tried registering with the discounted rate and I'm getting this: "Online payment not accepted for this event. See below or contact the organizer to coordinate payment."

My guess is that you tried to register for January 21 where online payment is not accepted. For this event, just follow the instructions.
I just tried to register for January 22 and it worked fine.
Hope this helps.

Race day register on line to get name on the list.
Practice day you must mail in your check to george @ the address he provided at the bottom of the page under where it says Registration Suspended.
Hope that helps to the other that sound as confused as I was.
Mike Reyes wrote:Okay, well I was able to get my name on the registered list... but I guess I'm supposed to pay on the day of?
Sorry, I'm just really confused. I never had this problem with the registration before.
Not sure what "problem" you had. You appear to be registered correctly.
The first paragraph of the event info says twice that payment is at the event: "Fees: (All payments to be made at the event)
Online pre-registration entry $30
Day of competition onsite entry $40
Juniors & Students 24 and younger with current student ID $15
X-Runs $25 (must be purchased at the event) Online payment is not currently available, pay at the event."

Regarding the Run/Work order for this event, Group 3 includes "SS thru HS". Can I assume that this would include ES? Just want to clarify so that I don't show up late. I'll still be there early, just not AS early as we've been arriving.

Pardon me cause it's been a while, can you register For the champ event even if you aren't a member online? Just going as a walk in more or less....no number/club/etc
I'm sure I will be corrected if I am wrong, but yes, you can sign up if you aren't an SCCA member. Just be sure to tick the box for the $15 weekend membership, and pick a number in the 600s.
Leonard Cachola wrote:That is correct. You can pre-register for Autocross Sunday even if you are not a member. In fact, it saves you $10 on the entry fee when you do.
That's a hint people. We do that because you make everything easier for Registration and Timing & Scoring by pre-registering. And gives us a better idea how the work groups are balancing out.

We need to edit that at registration to CPM index.
2012 Supps Appendix A wrote:COMBINED PREP AND MOD: (CPM)
Combined Prep and Mod is comprised of all SCCA Prepared and Modified classes, which we'll
refer to as the base classes.
a. Indexing: Each car competing in the CPM class will be indexed in accordance with
Appendix C.
b. Results: Every CPM competitor will have their corrected times listed, then the PAX
index for their car, followed by the best 'indexed' time, arrived at by multiplying their
best corrected time by the PAX index number for the car’s class. [Example
Calculation: (Best Time) X (Class Index) = Final Indexed Time]
c. Event Awards: Awards will be awarded for each event in accordance with Para. 7.11.
Awards will be issued based upon CPM class results.
d. Year end awards: If a base class has enough participants to issue year end awards,
these will be issued for the base class, with all CPM points remaining in CPM for
purposes of calculating CPM's awards. Awards will be given to those remaining in
CPM with base class entries removed.
e. Participants are only eligible to receive one award. They will not receive a base class
award and a CPM award.
