Need help with a quickie install of a Honda ECU.

Post by Steve Ekstrand »

Heyward Wagner just posted this for his friend David Tilly. There is a relative with a 93 Civic Si that just arrived in LA and promptly had her car broken into to steal the ECU. The ECU is easy to get, they are sourcing one now, unless somebody here has one laying in their garage. Its a five minute install. They need somebody local to slap it in though.

Here's the message off Heyward's Facebook wall:

ATTN LA AUTOCROSSERS/ Car People- I have a very good friend who is in need of help- someone stole the ECU out of a 1993 Civic Si- the ECU itself is easy enough to find, but I am in need of someone to go install it (owner is not mechanically savvy) Should be a 5 minute job, car is located near the 101/110 interchange (zip code is 90026) lmk if you can help, timing pending ECU delivery.
