I agree about the winters in the NW (Vancouver) having spent a complete one there myself but the following summer was probably one of the nicest summers I ever had.....hardly rained at all and was not too hot ... just about perfect.Ashley Armstrong wrote:Dan Barnes wrote:Looks like a fairly typical Washington state summer day (haha)

But those winters.....I swore that, despite being above freezing, it still felt like -20 C (yes, that is a minus sign) on the Prairies where it was dry....as opposed to wet.
But, I did like Vancouver - a beautiful city...not all of it...but not bad at all. 2010 winter Olympics are going to be there and at Whistler/Blackcomb (about 1 1/2 hours north).

This was the last time we ran on the asphalt at Norton and it was in APRIL. I remember it 'cause it was the first practice I ever ran. Motorsport event '04. 2 hour work group FTMFLMako Koiwai wrote:Another Flip Side Makofoto:

Norton. 2003. 2nd SCNAX Cup. Day 1: 108. Day 2: 105. }:)
On Day 1 I drank 4 liters of water and 4-5 liters of Gatorade and still got heat stroke. :barf:

That was my first autocross event as well. I remember my shoes melting to the asphalt and I think I remember the asphalt temp being over 150 degrees.Curt Luther wrote:This was the last time we ran on the asphalt at Norton and it was in APRIL.
