We've decided to take the Scion FR-S plunge so we decided to list it here to a loving owner instead of trading it in......
Standard trim model. Garaged its whole life and parked in a parking structure when at work. Nearly all freeway miles as this was Christen's commuter for the first 2 years. 100k HondaCare warranty with Roadside assistance (good until Oct 2013). All services done with Mobil Synthetic and Honda filters. Transmission and diff serviced at 26K and 52K at Moss Honda in MoVal. Car is the current SD region SK1 champ and has won every SK1 event entered in the CSCC region. Car has been set up for SK1 as follows:
225/45/17 and 255/40/17 Dunlop Star Specs (50-55 runs)
CR front sway bar and bushings
ATE Blue fluid (flushed and bled Jan '12)
Hawk HPS pads
Aligned at Escondido Toyota under my supervision to my spec for Autocross (Sept '11)
CT Engineering drop in filter
Car runs very strong, shifts perfect and no oil burning issues like some people seem to have with their S2000s. Full disclosure- Car was rear ended in March of '09 and repaired with new rear quarters, trunk, bumper, exhaust system and taillights. No "frame" damage, no salvage title. During repair, when the top was being re-installed it tore necessitating a new convertible top. Work completed in May of '09. All records of the repair, photos of the accident and other info available.
