This is an open letter of congratulations and thanks to those who helped make our first ever Southern Pacific Super Regional a huge success. It takes many dedicated people to pull off an event like this, especially without national support. From the comments I've heard, which are many, we not only pulled it off, but we did it in spectacular fashion. From opening day on Friday where we had an outstanding practice course, to the wonderful dinner prepared by our welcome team, to the fantastic course, to the event management, I heard nothing but high praises from folks throughout the weekend. Many, many people shared with me that this is by far their favorite event of the year. As a region, we should be proud of what we've accomplished.
An special weekend like this requires many folks working together for this common goal. For that effort, thanks are certainly in order. Thank you to our sponsors, without whom this event would not be possible at anywhere close to the price point we were able to offer. Thanks to our leadership who had the vision to endorse the rebirth of the divisional and now the Super Regional. Thanks for the extra effort from all who volunteered, especially our chiefs, all of whom did an outstanding job. Thanks to the competitors who come here trusting us to put on an event worth traveling for. And thanks to YOU, for being part of the finest autocross region in the country.
Sincerely,
George Schilling

As I told you on Sunday, George, the event was better than some National Tours, and as good as most! Our region has much to be proud of.

Hats off to everyone who put it together. Great food, great course, and the best group of drivers to race with. Thanks for everything
