Course design just got easier, we don't need 50' to upright objects (for karts) anymore. Too bad this didn't come out before Nationals when we had a major hassle to get the east course "safe" for the karts.

Looking at the language in the 2012 rule book, I'm not sure why we couldn't have worked it out on the site. Seems pretty obvious that it is optional. No "must" or "will".
