Has Anyone Noticed.........????

Post by George Schilling »

Just how welcoming and efficient our registration team has become? I have. I was truly taken by how nice and professional the registration area looked on Sunday as Maggie, Gayle and team continue to improve our registration process.

These improvements don't just happen. It requires a lots of planning and behind the scenes work not to mention the time spent when we see the team in action.

If you agree that our registration team is doing a great job, please join me in using this thread to thank Gayle, Maggie, and the rest of the registration team, Sharon, Michael, Jonathon, Bob and all the rest who pitch-in to make the in-person face of our region a positive one.

As the leaders of that team, I really appreciate what Maggie and Gayle have accomplished. The improvements that have taken place since they were asked to take on the task have been enormous.

Thank you ladies for all you do!

I absolutely agree, George. They come very prepared. When I was having trouble updating the software in the reg computers (am I the only one that finds newer versions of Windows less user friendly? Only took 1 minute or so on the older computers in the motor home.), Maggie just the pulled out the printed list of online registrations and started checking people in. You may see a bit of a line initially, but it goes away quite quickly. The whole team is getting better and better and to have the consistency of operation is a big plus.

The fact that I can't remember the last time I stood in a line pretty much says it all! Great job, guys!

+1

For the past couple events I've never had to wait all too much in line to register if at all. I am appreciative to the work that registration does for us and would like to see this continue. If you guys need a break just let us know what we can do to help!

I'll tell you what I did notice this weekend. A complete lack of complaints. :)

The new signage is great. Stood out well and looked nice.

I'll introduce myself here by giving another compliment to the registration. This was about the best registration setup I have ever seen for a local autocross. Super fast, super painless. I deliberately waited until I did a course walk to sign in, but as it turns out that really wasn't necessary.

I noticed. The slowest part was writing the check. The process was so smooth and efficient that I couldn't believe I was finished. GREAT JOB to ALL involved.

I agree, Gayle and Maggie even catch my mistakes and correct them.

Be sure to stop by and say "hi" to them at the SCCA booth at the LBGP.

Agreed. Having the SCCA membership forms out and ready to be filled out while in line was a great idea, and the new signs help to make the process easier and more professional. Awesome job!
