Hey Rick...what's the name of your company? I work (for about a couple more weeks) for Giant Merchandising...another victim of offshore competition.
Pacific Screenworks in Mission Viejo (949) 462-0750 x202. 25 years in business. Currently strictly textile printing but we will soon have a large format digital printer that can do signs, banners and car graphics including full car wraps.

So for a re-cap, just at the thought of making a regional shirt you have these people interested in at least one:
E. West
Gio
Schillings x2
T. Barrett
A. van der Graff
KJ Christopher
K. Rahn

any one else?

I'm thinking more people would still turnaway/throwup/cover their eyes if Rick printed the VW

Image of Rick's design is near the top of the thread. I'm working on something myself too. I'll post it when I'm done.

We also already have the logo digitized for embroidery (for the champ jackets front) that could be done on the left chest of a polo shirt for those that want something more than a t-shirt.

Max, I assume you want it in pink?

Aaron, is there an easy way to set up something in the forum for ordering? Something where a person could enter their name, shirt size, quantity, color (the design would work on most light colors) and I could easily track it? Not worried about pre-payment. I'd probably also pad the initial order with extra shirts to be available at events.

Not easily, other than a thread that says give me this info if you want a shirt.

Can a moderator see who voted how in a poll?

If there is a setting to allow that, then could you set up a poll that looks like an order form and give Rick the keys?

i just sketched this up real quick.. obviously rough, and not a whole lotta though, but the idea being that it doesn't *look* as much like an event shirt (which i personally don't have a love for), and doesn't have the typical components of a T-shirt (logo over left breast, big color print in the back).

Image

anyways, i'm not gonna be getting a shirt since i'm just a forum troll, but thought i'd throw the idea out there.

edit: wow, that quality really sucks after you edit it through microsoft PAINT. the little dots above "2008" is suppose to be where you list the event dates for the year.

Just a suggestion Kurt, but since this is supposed to be about sports cars, we should have a really, really sexy looking sports car on the shirt. Now let me think, what is the sexiest looking sports car out there................mmmmmm..............ummmmmmm................I know,
the S2000

Well, now that's opening a whole can of worms, isn't it? I think there are quite a few Corvette/Porsche/Lotus/Ferrari/Lambo/etc. owners/fans who would disagree.

Let me rephrase this:

And Kurt, if it takes more than four spark plugs or if you can put a set of golf clubs in the car, it's really isn't a sportscar. :D

Arg ... what happened to the message I thought I posted?

Karen and I would buy ... but how many of the typically 150+ drivers that we typically get see this message? I think we should just make them and sell them for profit at the events. Keep a sample hanging at Registration, etc.

We have a number of talented designers. Have a yearly design contest. Have a Poll to pick the winner. Award Rick the printing contract as a thanks for all of the extra stuff he does.
