Video shake question

Post by Bob Pl »

For hand held videos (don't go into pro stuff like gimbals)IF your camera does not have it built in, is there editing software that works "better" than YouTube's option? YouTubes is bloody awful.

Thanks if you know anything about this.

I use the DeShaker (http://www.guthspot.se/video/deshaker.htm) Plug-in for Virtual Dub (http://www.virtualdub.org/) to eliminate camera shake. There are a lot of settings in DeShaker, so you'll have to figure out what settings work with the video you're trying to stabilize. Both Virtual Dub and DeShaker are free for personal use.
