You can only run on Saturday if you like ... and can even win if you're Jeff Barco. Jeff got sick, couldn't make it back on Sunday ... AND STILL WON HIS CLASS! :king:

The only thing that Jeff couldn't win was the battle with his wife over auto crossing.

I don't want to screw the event up. I am also a college student thus, funds are not as readily available for me  . I would rather not pay for 2 days and only show up for 1.

I noticed there is an event on Apr 4 at El Toro. It said it is a team BLEW practice. Isn't that your team Mako? is that event open to others as well?

1. Race Tire Index (all Prepared and Modified Category classes)
Now we gotta beat Keisal TOO?! Jerks. M1 and P1 folks get your orders in for your new R1 class letters. R1 also isn't in the registration system yet.

We just need an EP car, the Pro index is .853 vs. the regular Solo index at .861, the exact opposite of the STU index from a few years ago.

Seems like the thought was, "Hey Mod is having trouble making a class.. I know Prepared makes a class, lets throw them in there so they don't wanna show up either!"

Yeah, but it used to get dark an hour (actually 1.25hours) earlier.

Yeah I was thinking it was still DST those years, but I guess not. First Sunday in April before for the time change. This will make Stacey happy... She's been stuck out running in the near dark twice.

ST & STS index numbers vs. the classes the cars originate out of seams off.

HS 0.774 GS 0.792 ST 0.800
ES 0.806 STS 0.801

In essence, ST cars are faster then the classes the cars primarily come from. But the STS Miata's are slower than the stock class the originate from? Am I understanding this correctly based upon the indexes? Does this play out in reality?

ST cars are secretary/grocery getter based cars. They totally suck in stock form and have much to gain with ST mods.

STS cars are sporty. They gain less because they start out better.

Yeah, they're not separated between SK1 and SK2, and I think we have a real AM entry there as well in Randy Chase (unless he's driving something different or registered in the wrong class).

So are we running heads up against AM? Tom, Mark, do either of you know how this is going to work? For the Pro, if we have a class, will we also qualify for the challenge, or will SK1 & SK2 be excluded from qualification. Things to know to make an informed decision of where to run.
