Steve Lepper wrote:Any more workers needed for Friday?

I've sent a couple of emails over the past weeks to Tom Berry, but have not received any reply.

I'm available pretty much all day. Anyone with any news, please email me through the board link.
Steve,
As Christine said, we can always use more help. We will be setting up course friday am... so more help there would be great!
and the welcome party can always use another helper to man the BBQ or whatever.

As far as sending me e-mails over the last several weeks, I checked every e-mail sent and recieved from the past 4 weeks and have gotten nothing from you. I have also been monitoring the message boards and checking my PM's daily. I've responded to everything that I've received. I just looked back at everything and still dont see any messages from you. So I am sorry that I didnt respond, but I didn't get any messages from you. Most of the "counts as a work assignment" jobs filled within a few days of my post asking for those interested in being included in that, and to the best of my knowledge, I was able to accomodate all that respoded.

I want to Thank all the folks that volunteered above and beyond this weekend to make the event run smoothly! Like Joey, George, and Kyle who helped me keep the course clean this weekend and Rick who filled all the worker stations with water and ice.

P.S. thanks to Will for covering for me when I was running.

That's a good description of the El Toro surface (or possibly your driving?), but I think you meant "course."

Sorry, I just couldn't resist. It's the editor in me.

You must have missed every other post i've made where I've made the same spelling error and people have made the same jokes. Spell check doesn't catch it when the word is spelled right it just means something else.

P.S. I was watching that video last night and actually pretty pleased at how much smoother my inputs are than they used to be.

It's nice to see that the SCCA thought so much of the IDX classes to not include them in the final results on the website (they *are* in the PDF, though).

Depends on the car, I also don't wear driving shoes in a STi or Evo. I have to in the BMW or my feet don't fit.

I hate wearing driving shoes but I do in the Elise. W/O them the likelyhood of hitting 2 pedals at once or having my foot get stuck is equal to the brakes going into ice-mode....

+1 for Piloti Spyders! Comfortable all around yet slick and slender. The narrow go karting shoes were the most uncomfortable shoes ... totally flat, no arch support.
