While I can delete their numbers in ORM and leave them blank, unfortunately the Timing software will generate numbers (starting at 600) automatically as it imports them. So Reg will still have to change it to what is actually issued. Would it make any sense to let ORM generate the 600 numbers and let people pull the numbers themselves while in line?

Then its a freakin nightmare to replenish afterwards. Instead of printing 600-630, you have numbers all over the place. Major league mistake.
Oh yeah, and the chance of us screwing it up and duping entries is guaranteed.
Can't you just change their number to whatever you hand them using the computer?
Yes, you can. And I agree with Steve - no reason not to do it.

You can register on site Sunday, but it cost you $10 more! Go ahead and give it a try. The instructions make it pretty clear. You'll need to create a profile. Don't worry about paying or having a points card. But pre-reg will save you money. And if a miracle happens and we start pushing towards our 250 cap, then you're in.
Ask for help if you run into trouble. Also, if your going to run at least six championships with us consider getting a points card now with Gio so that you can run our new season long Novice Challenge series.

Steve's right. Sign up and pay using the first method: PayPal and I can process you online right now before I leave work. Pick a club and available number and you'll be all set.
