Feb. 1 Champ Event Flyer Posted

Post by Kurt Rahn »

The CASOC champ event flyer is up and available here: http://tinyurl.com/9m3ck6

Please keep in mind that if you registered for the 1/11 champ event, your registration and any payment was transferred. If you can't make the 2/1 event, and paid for the 1/11 event, your money will be carried over to the next event you can attend. Online registration is available here:

Do you mean I do not need to register for this event? Or just pay for it?

If you registered for 1/11, you're automatically registered for 2/1. If you paid as well for 1/11 then you're also paid up for 2/1.

Checked axware registration list and you are correct.

Where is the run/work schedule for events at now? I'm having trouble finding it.
Thanks,

Is this run order for the Feb. 1st event accurate?

The file appears to be saved as 1-31 and when you open it, it says the run order is for January 11, 2009.

Please help clarify.

Thanks,
Katy

That's it.
Its the same as for the cancelled event on Jan 11th hence the dates...

With the new systems debuting, neither Kurt nor I have the priviliges in place (nor the knowledge) to change things other than the old flyer in the calendar section.

Yes, it's accurate. I'm not sure why it says 1/31, but the 1/9 date was the event we had to cancel due to wind. The run order from that event carried over to the event this Sun. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm having some trouble paying for the 2/01 event. I can register my car and select the $15 Junior fee, but when the page refreshes when it should add it to the cart, it tells me I must pay $30 and it does not even add it to the cart. Should I just pay in cash at the event?

Cash at the event works! But pre-reg is definitely important to us. You can pre-reg online and pay in person, that is fine!

I'm getting a lot of emails asking for reg help. I have NO clue. Sorry. :(

I think I'll just pay in person. It doesn't matter to me either way, except for saving a few steps.

I can't see anything wrong with it. I tried it on myself and it updated to $15 after I selected that and it showed $15 when I added it to my cart and then when I went to the payment screen. Looking at your membership I don't see anything wrong, except that you were in the system twice. I deleted the one that had not been logged into. Try again please.

I don't know if this will cause a problem when Rick loads the registration file onto the computers but I did notice that the following two people are signed up under Lisa Severy's number:

STS 1 Justin Hal 2000 Honda Prelude Green

Yeah, I noticed that. I'll just set them to no number before I download, then it automatically generates 600 numbers when I import. Of course it's still wrong because it will make both 600 since they are in different classes. I can't set "unique" numbering on because then it won't allow X-Runs. Only possible solution I can think of is turning "unique numbering" on and then requiring people to add an "X" to their car number in addition to selecting X Class. That would solve the problem both online and when downloading.

Another thing I noticed that you might want to watch out for when you load the file Rick. These are the poeple who filled in their 600 numbers already. I know its not a huge problem as long as registration doesn't try to give those numbers to someone else.

I don't really want to be digging through the stack of 600 looking for specific numbers.... You can't imagine how that slows things down. Then its a freakin nightmare to replenish afterwards. Instead of printing 600-630, you have numbers all over the place. Major league mistake.

Oh yeah, and the chance of us screwing it up and duping entries is guaranteed.

Can't you just change their number to whatever you hand them using the computer?

Maybe. Nobody doing registration this weekend has ever used our new computer system for registration.
