Plenty of room. Some of the gals don't take all of their runs because they get so many! We'd love to see your lovely wife join us on Saturday! ... ya, U2 :D

I'm not positive on the membership deal - how to get the credits. I think you can if you go online at scca.org. Just bring a print out with your number. It will take forever to get a card.

I'm sending in registration today for

Diana Hang
and
Ann Webster

They both attended the novice school, and liked it enough to do it again. I'll be pit boy for them!

Thanks!

Duh... mail sent today won't get there until Saturday anyway. Is it ok if I bring checks for these two ladies?

Also, here's the cars they're driving:

Diana Hang - 2005 Honda Civic Coupe, no prior autocross experience other than the novice school
Ann Webster - 2002 VW Jetta 1.8t, no prior autocross experience other than the novice school

Thanks!

That's fine.

Events are rain or shine, though i'll be jealous since we never get rain practice

The rains looks to be just a chance of a passing shower, so no biggy.
We run rain or shine and especially for practice or schools wet pavement is very valuable for learning!!! Big rain can make for logistical headaches, but this weather threat looks perfect, moderate temps and only occasional showers if at all.

I'd suggest layering cloths and bringing something light as a rain coat. Not much cover other than inside your car.

And Karen was and is totally correct. I will be there tomorrow morning early. With my rain gear!

Looked like everyone was having tons of fun and getting lots of runs! They even got some rain practice. It is just as fun to be an instructor as it is to be a student, I get to watch all my students improve during the day.
:gpower: :gpower: :gpower:

Thank you for a great event!

Well it was great fun to see everyone out there having fun! I was working grid all day, and it was great to get to know the different ladies, a real treat. Some folks got ~20 runs in, which is fantastic! I know my wife Ann and her cousin Diana both had a blast and learned a lot. Ann was living large, having dropped 8 seconds during the day to get down to a 62.7. The only low point was the end of the day when I got my two runs and ended up with a 60.2 :king:
Still not 10 seconds faster, but it gave her the urge to keep trying and get faster!

Thanks to all the organizers, this was a well run event!

Sincerely,
Collin Webster

Katianne apparently got 23 runs, and it wasn't enough. She was back for todays race.
