That's EXACTLY what differentiates the Solo from ProSolo.....it's PINKs except you actually have to turn left and right after you pass the 60' marker and drive!!! :)

Here's an article http://www.scca.com/contentpage.aspx?content=57

A sportsman tree, used for bracket and handicap racing, consists of each yellow lighting 0.5 seconds after the one above it. The green comes on 0.5 seconds after the last yellow is lit. If the race is a handicap race each side of the tree will have its own timing.

A pro tree consists of all three yellows being illuminated at the same time, followed by the green 0.4 seconds later. This type of tree is used for professional and heads-up racing. It should be noted that some tracks run a Pro-style tree for bracket racing during special "Street Racing" bracket events.

Ours is a sport tree....looks like Gio ran around too much over the weekend picking up all the Allstar cones!! :gpower:

I assume you are trying to register for the Pro (since we are in the Prosolo thread, Gio pay attention) and that means it will be your SCCA member number. It will eventually be on your SCCA membership card. Since you don't have that yet then you might have to call the national office.

I typically call Nancy Downing first because she is Solo Manager. But with a membership question you might have to call someone from the membership department.

I guess your sucess is going to depend on whether the application you filled out over the weekend at the event has been submitted yet. You would have to ask Gayle Jardine about that.

Good Luck! (Talk to Nancy if you have any problems and she can get you on the right path)

Link to SCCA event site:
http://scca.com/event.aspx?hub=3&event=13671" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Entry cap is 230 people, current entry count is 146.

If you are going to attend, register before next friday (3/13) otherwise the entry fees go up.

(I wrote this awesome explanation for the ProSolo format last year right before we switched to the new forums, so now it's gone :( I'll have to look and see if I can find it somewhere)

Champagne Shower for Challenge winners and Awards presentations after challenges are complete (4 pm ish)

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Heat Names:
Heat 1 Saturday morning (Sat AM)
Heat 2 Saturday afternoon (Sat PM)
Heat 3 Sunday morning (Sun AM)
Challenges Sunday afternoon (Sun PM)

An example of a run order, will change based on class sizes. Official run order will be printed on the registration paper you receive when you register:
Group 1 FJA, FJB, HS, GS, FS, ES, STS2
Group 2 L2, DS, BI-1
Group 3 CS, BS, AS
Group 4 SS, STS
Group 5 STX, FSP, ESP, DSP
Group 6 CSP, BSP, L1, BI-2
Group 7 ASP, SM, SM2, Prepared Index Class (XP and CP thru GP)
Group 8 STU, Modified (AM thru FM), F125

Work order based on run group order:
Work Shift A Groups 1 & 2 Running
Work Shift B Groups 3 & 4 Running
Work Shift C Groups 5 & 6 Running
Work Shift D Groups 7 & 8 Running

You must work three times: Sat AM, Sat PM, Sun AM and we need volunteers for the challenges (best seat in the house to watch)

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Grid positions will be posted at the entrance to grid before runs begin. Sat morning you are lined up by numerical order, the other heats you are lined up by class finishing order after the previous heat There will be two grids, A and B. The grids move quickly so keep an eye out for what group is running and what group is getting into the other grid.

Runs: You get two runs on each side per heat. For example you are in grid spot 11. This means that you will start on the left side course. Run the left, right, left, right then go to impound. (It goes very quickly so if your adrenaline isn’t pumping by the time its over, you are probably dead)

Impound: After you 4th run you will be directed to impound where you have to open you hood and trunk and then wait for results to be delivered. This is so that if there are any mistakes in the results you can bring it up while everyone in your class is around. Results can be both slow or fast so have patience and the Impound workers in blue vests will bring them to you and then release you (do not leave before they have done this).

-------------------------------------------------------------------
If you can make it to the site early on friday there is a Evolution Performance driving school specially tailored to ProSolos.

Mako, I didn't delete anything, you posted your information in the ProSolo thread that is in the Solo Talk Section, I posted it in the Events section. Jamie asked the exact same question in both places.

(warning: thats the big downside to having event threads in two forum sections and using the "view new posts" button instead of browsing the forums)

It's a 2 day event.. I mean.. you could just not show up on sunday, but that would probably screw up the grid order for your group.
