This rocks!
A discussion was held regarding Gio Jaramillos proposal to reduce the grace period to 9 months, ending on September 30, for Points Cards purchased in the prior year.[cut]A motion was made, seconded, voted on and passed that the Expired On-Hold numbers would be available October 1, beginning 2009.

Agreed. Being able to squat on your number is silly, when it only costs $20 to reserve it for a whole year. If it's not important enough to spend the $20, then it can't be important enough to people to keep their old number. Let the numbers be free!

I can't help with the flour, but we just re-drywalled our garage, and I have about ten 6X8 sheets plus scraps I need to get rid of. Can the sheets be stored in the trailer or something? I can cut them so they're smaller if need be.We are also in need of dry wall sticks and flour.
Sorry, I mentioned this to Renee last event, but then promptly forgot to load it into my car.

As an interim step, at the next one, maybe it'd be a good idea to bring a laptop and possibly a larger external LCD monitor and speakers and show people's in-car runs. If they included spins and getting squirrely, so much the better (if someone wants to put a camera in my car, I'd be happy to provide this footage ;) ). Seems like doing a demo that did any justice to what we do would be difficult. There was a short discussion regarding the Cars and Coffee CSCC appearance. The feedback was positive, although a demo would probably bring more interest.
Actually, come to think of it, Bill S.'s video would be perfect.

I don't know if anyone's ever tried to cut up that much drywall that small, but it's bound to make quite the mess.
We can get pre cut drywall sticks from Home Depot for free. They use them as spacers for drywall sheet stacks. As the drywall sells, the sticks get thrown aside eventually tossed.

Thanks Marshall. It literally came to me as an idea on the way to the meeting. The amended version I believe was pushed back to October 16th as the expiration date to give 2 weeks time to those who haven't renewed yet, as a final "last call" once I post the notice for RENEWALS STARTING on the 1st of October.Marshall Grice wrote:This rocks!A discussion was held regarding Gio Jaramillos proposal to reduce the grace period to 9 months, ending on September 30, for Points Cards purchased in the prior year.[cut]A motion was made, seconded, voted on and passed that the Expired On-Hold numbers would be available October 1, beginning 2009.
Either way, it'll make my life so much easier!
