Re: Our new leader
Interesting; nothing mentioned in his bio. about having any motorsports background (like, has he ever been involved himself?). Hmmm.

Re: Our new leader
I know he took some runs at the RallyCross championships, and I have seen him at a number of events over the last few years - we had dinner with him and his wife at the natl convention last year. I don't think he is a "racer", but he certainly has a head start on who/what the SCCA is the last two presidents.Bill Schenker wrote:Interesting; nothing mentioned in his bio. about having any motorsports background (like, has he ever been involved himself?). Re: Our new leader
I would bet that this one is going to be making a whole lot LESS in compensation than the past two.
And on an operating basis will probably be more proficient.
But as Julow pointed out quite clearly its the BOD who is running the show.
The advantage is that the BOD usually has a racer background. They are accountable to us. We can target directors to boot at the next election.
However, leadership is rarely strong and effective when generated by a committee.
