E-Track

On the toyhauler I'm looking at, the 9 recessed d rings in the floor are really light duty for ATV's and Motorcycles.
I was thinking for something stronger, I'd might lay down a pair of 5' vertical E-Track strips front and back. It seems to be those might be easier to securely install in the bed of a trailer though I'm not exactly sure how... And it would give me the flexibility for different length cars, adjusting the load balance and of course.... JUNIOR KART placement.

Also thinking of using vertically mounted vertical E-Track for the sides to form the basis for an adjustable height tire rack. Again, the E-Track seems to me to be the ticket for distributing a load across a relatively flimsy working surface. But I'm never used them.

E-Track will work. Most dry vans use E-Track for load holding. And the assortment of attachments you can get for E-Track is mind boggeling. The walls of a dry van are pretty flimsy too, but I'd still look into trying to tie the E-Track to the frame on the floor or at least add a brace/plate on the bottom side of the trailer to spread the load out even more(less chance of ripping a hole in the floor).

I installed etrack on the floor of my old trailer. if it is the typical enclosed trailer, the floor is not too thick. So, thru bolt it. I did every other hole in the etrack. takes time but was plenty strong. If you happen catch the flange of a few of the cross beams even better.

I takes two people to install. One in the trailer and one under. I used an air ratchet underneath while my wife held a wrench on the bolt heads.
