I was sure George was going to type "diesel" after he said "Describe the smell ... "George Schilling wrote:Yeah, yeah..................shiney new truck. But really now, who cares what it looks like? Describe the smell man. mmm! mm! Nothing like the smell of a new car.

Needs a lift and some sodding great wheels/tires.
However, I suggested the same to Sebastian and he said that would make him a "bro" and Shauna a "bro ho".
Your choice!

I have 2.5" of clearance in my parking garage. No lifts. No taller tires. No running over debris as I pass under a beam. Thank goodness there are no clearance lights or bigass satellite antenna.
I dismissed the Chevy more than anything because its 2" taller in 4x2 form. And I couldn't get any 4x4's.

I'm trying to peel the sticker off the honduh.
The rear seats fold flat and basically make a bed. So, I'm going to head over to that little park above the Greek Theatre and see if George Micheal is lonely. Or maybe flag down a Miata driver????
Or I could head to Redlands to take Ash to lunch in a desperate show to the world that I'm a breeder???

Back to the big gay truck, you lookin' at any power adders or just stickin' with stock for warrranty issues? Speaking of which, do they give the "Lifetime" on the diesels? I heard they didn't.

Re: Pics of the new truck
I just set up a message board at http://www.biggheydodge.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
We are going to offer big discounts on marriages held right on empty dodge dealer lots.
Cerebus warrants the diesels for 5yrs or 100K miles. Plus the potentially troublesome emissions stuff is warranted for 4 or 5 lifetimes I think? 500K miles on some of it?
The particulate filter, BlueTec, and special cat are mega expensive. And they are uniquely numbered to the vehicle to help with theft issues.
Of course, if Chrysler LLC goes into a Chapter 11 reorg, the warranties might become 6 months or 8K miles.

Re: Pics of the new truck
Hustler Club works....
Actually, I'm having lunch at Camping World
No power adders on the truck. The bluetec is too unknown so I need the warranty. Plus the power adders may not work well yet with the emissions. And there have been quite a few turbo failures.
I talked to my connections at Dodge and they assure me the 6.7 is a monster and they were more conservative than ever with this one because of the concerns of Cat life and cost.
The strange part is the talk that cat life and breakin are WAY WAY worse with conservative driving.... Okay, so why so conservative with the tune?

Re: Pics of the new truck
If it has anything close to the power Kari's 08 Duramax has, it doesn't need it. Her's is a 4WD, long bed with sunroof, so it's probably a bit heavier than yours. It hauls ass. I haven't towed with it yet, but I'm sure it's good.Steve Ekstrand wrote:No power adders on the truck.
