Put together a video of a run from Sunday morning. I'm using ChaseCam's new DashWare software to combine ChaseCam video with DL1 data acquisition. This is actually a super basic idea of what it can do, you can program your own custom gauges to monitor anything you can datalog, like all your engine parameters, shock pots, etc. I don't have the DL1 tied into RPM or throttle position on the Viper yet, it will be interesting to do so.

This is only the second set of tires the car's had on it so we were chasing setup most of the weekend. This video is extra hack-y because the driver gets surprised by his car in a couple spots. Try not to laugh too hard at me. Hope to have it better sorted out by Wendover (everyone who enjoyed El Toro is going to have just as much fun, but with additional drinking, cigars, and hot young fresh-from-the-eastern-bloc Blackjack dealers, is going, right?).

Come for a ride in the old school BS machine, where finesse takes a back seat to wild adrenaline-pumping hold-on-and-pray driving. :)

As it turned out my excitement was premature - my Saturday times would have stood for the class win. With a 9 tenths improvement on Sunday I screwed myself for the Challenge dial-in. :) One of these days I'll make it past the first round in the Super Challenge, I swear! I've got a great excuse though - my car hates cold Hoosiers. ;) Congrats to Gregory Peng for going fast and clean on both sides to defeat me.

Thanks Bryan. It was fun racing with you in the challenge. Looks like your car is more of a handful to drive than mine! The Dunlop Z1 street tires do exceptionally well during cold first runs. I enjoyed this advantage until meeting the multi-driver Berry Evo. Tom's not too bad of a driver, too.
