Good question. I think Seb uses tireshoppe.com which I guess changed names to treadzone.com:

http://www.treadzone.com/tireList.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Tire deals 4 less:

http://www.tiredeals4less.com/TOYO_Proxes_R1R_C885.cfm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Lots of local shops like C2 Motorsports (talk to Steve Coe) carry them as well. Availability is always the story for local shops:

http://www.c2racers.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Dood, are you gonna eat that?

I use Joe Specht at treadzone.com (new name)
Their tireshaving is best I've seen. Though, till it gets really hot, I'm not sure tireshaving is necessary. :)

I noticed $20 for shaving and $20 for shipping per tire on the website. I always call and so far all my tires this year have been $15/15. Don't know if Joe just charges me less over the phone or a racer discount or if prices just went up???

I'd have gotten them from Steve Coe if he could shave them! But like I said, I'm not so sure shaving is necessary now.

I go to JLB Motorsports (951) 734-4411.
Availability depends on size.

Im acutally impressed with how long these have lasted considering that they have over 100+ runs and 40% of the runs were on El Toros surface.

I got my R1R's in 225/45/15 from JLB motorsports too. They didn't have them in stock when I called but they called me back two days later with them in hand.
