Here's JUST the
Solo portion
and boy was the Solo SEB busy this month! Took me a few minutes to read through all that. Hey Robert, looks like the Noble is geared for XP for 2010. Not sure if you were for or against that.

FOR!
Yes, it's out for member comment with another change. Great.
Maybe if they keep futzing with the wording long enough, people will stop bothering to write in and they can pretend to kill it with a clear conscience.

Thanks for the welcome back to HIST (very tempting offer)
They want my red 1980 Scirocco (built to the 2000-2004 line rules) to go away but the silver 1976 Scirocco A1 is built to the 2005-2010 FSP line Rules. That is why I am driving the silver car now. The silver car was built when the red car became obsolete in 2005 due to line rule changes. They did not delete the old line when they added the new line. I did not want to miss any events as I was making the changes so I built up my parts car to the new rules. Now I am modifying the red car so it will be up to date (but should just leave it alone). The 1980 (in the old trim) is still covered under the 2005-2010 FSP Rule. When I built the 1980 I was restricted from using some parts and removing the center console. The difference is not that great. The sad part is that neither car is competitive with the cars that have twice the horsepower in the class.

Hey, and while you're writing in, throw in some support for the removal of the 100lb/200lb weight penalty in prepared for running larger than 16" wheels.

Isn't the "sunset rule" just for stock class? Is SP affected too?

STOCK ONLY!!!
ITEM 7) Add new second paragraph to 13.0 as follows:
“A car will remain eligible for Divisional, National Tour, and National Championship events through the end of the 30th calendar
year after the manufacturer-designated model year of the car.”

Super !!! Audi R8 in Super Stock. Nice looking car, depreciating as fast as GM stocks, AWD, V8 and available manual transmission. All the camber you need, as it uses spacers on the wishbones, the 60 lbs exhaust can be removed, and lightweight wheels and sway bars are available.

Dump that Fiat and buy a winner.

According to me. Not longer than 6 months ago it was impossible to get the hands on one for less than $150k, they're in the low 100s right now with a few ones popping once in a while in the 90s. With the incoming Cabrio and V10, I would expect them to be in the high 80s quite soon, similar market price as the 997 GT3.
Super Stock with R8, Viper, Elise/Exige, GT3, Cayman looks so nice. Unfortunately, there is still a high number of plastic Barbie cars in the class in their way to extintion.

No need to dump it. Winner already here, lighter, shorter, narrower, and pretty soon more powerful.

Hey, just because it's spinning doesn't mean I'm (trying to) driving it!
That was Chris G, Rad's co-driver ... trying to up the TTD, on his way to the PCA X Class win last Sunday:

I don't where you're looking, but Cars.com shows 38 R8s nationwide; cheapest is $104,900.
The Cabrio isn't going to effect the coupe's price; two different buyers. Personally, I wouldn't want the Cab; even though I like open cars Audi convertibles are way heavier than the hardtops.

Not too surprising. If he wants someone to keep it exercised I'll do that for free.

So is the Tesla a complete non-starter in SS?
My pessimistic mind was wondering if the R8 was a way of hiding the Tesla's classification.
Kinda like what happened to Farah when Michael died...
