Another Tire Test

Post by Kurt Rahn »

Car and Driver just did a test of budget summer tires and the results are interesting. The size they used was 225/45-17 and the cost of a tire couldn't exceed $140.

Although the Star Specs won overall, the Kumho XS was by far the strongest in the dry. Word to the mutha.

the Sumitomo HTR Z are priced right for my car, but they're kinda on the loud side.. :(

Hurray!!! I choose the right one!!! I am going with a 16" Wheel and the Kumho's on a Ford Focus. The price was $95 a tire however maybe next time I will try the Ling Long L688 so I can just trash.
