it's been a mixed bag since the swap from speedvision to speed.Mike Shin wrote:Thumbsdown to Speed for axing WRC and replacing it with such quality shows as Pinks All Out.The only show where one man in a tight t-shirt can over-complicate the sh*t out of racing in a straight line.
More events like what? They dropped WRC, Aussie Supercars and WTCC and replaced them with Touring Car and GT challenges. That's still a net loss of real racing in favor of every single NASCAR series and driver fart, along with banal "reality" shows.Jeff Shyu wrote: it's been a mixed bag since the swap from speedvision to speed.
the redneck racing stuff is pretty annoying, but at the same time, i think the switch allowed them the budget to bring more events that speedvision wasn't able to show..
meh.. i personally like the touring car and GT challenges. i've even seen a few spec miata races.Bob Beamesderfer wrote:More events like what? We need a rotating quote of the day at the top of the forums.Mike Shin wrote:Pinks All Out.The only show where one man in a tight t-shirt can over-complicate the sh*t out of racing in a straight line.
Touring Car and GT are fine. It's just that a lot of other stuff was dropped or cut to crap so they can show three flavors of "Pinks," along with "Wrecked," "Jacked," "Pimp My Ride," "Unique Whips," and probably some other non-racing drek. There are about two dozen NASCAR related shows, some of which include actual racing.Jeff Shyu wrote: meh.. i personally like the touring car and GT challenges. i've even seen a few spec miata races.
what i missed, are the Semi-truck races..
