NASA @ CA Spdway on Friday, who else is going ?

Post by Mako Koiwai »

Steve Collins and Karen ... Friday seems to be full, but Steve got in because of the usual last minute cancellations:

Very professionally run HPDE. As a novice one has an instructor for all 5 twenty minute (that's like a 100 AX runs! Except the time between cornering events is stretched out.) run sessions on the ROVAL. Debriefs after every run group to go over what happened, Q&A's, etc. Corner workers, emergency crews, pro-photographers, etc.

Some snaps from Karen's last NASA event:

AX like Tech. These NASA HPDE's are a great introduction to Track Time ...

I'm not driving either ... just Steve and Karen. See you there Laticia ... I'll be the guy changing tires on our Sapphire Blue Mica 10AE Miata. What does Jason drive?

Steve C, Karen/I and Laticia/Jason paddocked together. Had a nice time on a hot day ... thank goodness for the breeze!

Karen used up a good half tank of gas during the 5X 20 minute sessions. The old 710's are wearing very well. We should get a third HPDE out of what were barely usable AX Practice tires.
