I've seen that alot, resulting in just about every broken boken in the legs including hips....whenever I see a car like that, I'll look it up and the result is usually a fatality...and thats modern day cars where that issue is looked at big time. Body on frame ≠ safer vehicle.
Driver's left leg is pretty vulnerable even without the wheel intruding into the cabin.
