Re: SCNAX Cup Report
We were so sure we hadn't won anything (I accidentally left the traction control on, on the S2000 for what I thought was the crucial last run) that we were still loading up our cars ... until we realized we hadn't heard our team called ... and they were up to 3rd place. Just as we hustled up to the award ceremony, we heard that we had won!

Re: SCNAX Cup Report
Such a fun day!! Lots of work for Lilly and Art (and I'm sure many others) but a great time was had by all. This was the first SCNAX cup that I've entered and I can't wait till next year's. Learning how to drive an unfamiliar car to the limit was quite a challenge. Plus, as Pete said making new friends and competing on so many different levels.
Thanks so much for putting on this event.

I heard that your car was much better after the changes. A well informed course worker told me it looked really good on course. Lots of rotation on demand!Mihai Surubariu wrote:Super Fun weekend. Re: SCNAX Cup Report
I had an awesome time in my first SCNAX cup. The team competition was so fun and also learning other people's car, especially the Palero's Hyundai. I wished I did not hit the cones after the finish by backed off just a little on my last run in his car. It could do 77sec laps times on Saturday, it surprised me!
The course was also fantastic, flowed really well.
Thank you all for organizing this event and Team Lugnuts for letting me join their team. Sorry we lost the cup this year

Re: SCNAX Cup Report
Team Dueces Wild had a fun time. First to last. From the begining to the end.
I would have loved to see a Nobel, Ferrari, GTR, and GT3 team. Team big bucks!
Looking forward to next year! If I get crappy PAX times it may just be me sand bagging. :unimpressed:

Re: SCNAX Cup Report
To all those that didn't participate, you really missed a good time. I was asked, early in the week, by a fellow GP driver, "why are you doing this?" After listing several reasons (I'd like to drive some other cars, It would be nice to see what my car looks like from afar, I would like to know how fast I am or am not, etc) the final reason was because it should be fun.....what an understatement!
And Kurt, Leonard, QV and Adrian did have alot of fun driving the little red car. It started every time and ran all the runs with out a problem.... :gpower:

Re: SCNAX Cup Report
I'm glad everyone had so much fun. We learned alot this year, not having Jason W. like in the past was difficult, but with those lessons learned next it will even be better.
We'll figure out how to get the scoring done quicker. I was thinking we could use the regular timing computers to help.
