Buying a helmet
I'm looking for a local shop that would carry an assortment of SA rated helmets that I can try on for fitment before I buy. The only places I have found are for motorcycles. Any suggestions?

It would help to know what area you live/work in ... unless you don't mind traveling through out S. CA.

Re: Buying a helmet
btw. the Bell Mag and Mag 4 are the most popular AX helmets. No need for a fully enclosed helmet, unless you end up doing track events where it's required. Cooler and for me easier to breath with an open helmet, especially when it starts getting warm.

Be aware the Snell 2010's are just hitting the shelves. If you buy an 05 you'll lose 5 years of life. But you say you want an SA so I assume for something other than autocross. Some sanctioning bodies require current Snell issue, so be careful what you buy.
