Spitfire Relocating to Philly

Post by Steve Glusman »

As I told some of you already -- my work is taking me and my Spitfire back to Philly this summer. We are selling the house and making the big move back......At the top of my list of what I'll miss is SoCal Solo2 AutoX ! You folks made my stay in CA get better and better as I had left all my friends back in Philly when we moved...I appreciate all the coaching, advice, good meaning pokes, and the rsst -- and of course the HIST group and their friendship.

I'll find AutoX in Philly, I know but it won't be the same -- especially since I joined both LA and SD clubs and raced almost every two weeks....

Well -- you will have a spot to camp in Philly if the need arises...wish we had a ProSolo there...maybe someday!

See you at the next few events before we move!

Steve G #424

p.s. -- someone will have to take over as John Edwards arch rival!

Steve sorry to see you leave. You and your spitfire were my 1st ever ride on an AutoX course. Thanks for getting us hooked. Best of luck to you on your journey back to Philly.

Instead of racing every two weeks here you'll race every weekend in the summer then take the winter off. DC has a ProSolo. Susquehana COULD get a Pro back the the farm show in Harrisburg.

Steve,

So, you want to to see "real" football. I understand.

Thank you again for getting to drive your car.

You mean someplace like here?

When he posted "Philly" I assumed Philadelphia PA.

Steve,

You'll be sorely missed. Thanks for all the help in our region, and for the fun watching you getting that Spitfire up to speed.

Best of luck back in the Eastern half...

Gonna miss you, bud. You've given me some great advice and fun rides over my first year. Thanks. And come back to visit sometime. You've got a free ride in the 914 if you need it.

Steve
I know many have said they will miss you and your car and I am amoung them. What I will miss most is the Philly accent. It reminds me of home! I hear you speak and I hear my youth.

Good Luck and make sure to come back once in a while.
