Will Kalman is Finnish????

Post by Steve Ekstrand »

@takk: great comment! @lambofreak: all Finnish drivers are born good at rallying. Finnish babies don't learn how to walk first.they're put in old escorts and learn how to do Scandinavian flicks when they still can't read and write.

Maybe naming his kid Dane was just subterfuge.

danish rather than finish comes to mind when I see that name, and I found this:
The boy's name Dane \d(a)-
ne\, also used as girl's name Dane, is pronounced dayn. It is of Old English origin, and its meaning is "from Denmark, Dane".
and this:
The meaning of the name Dane is God Is My Judge Or From Denmark
The origin of the name Dane is Scandinavian
Notes: Dog breed: Great Dane. Dane Cook, comedian/actor
hm... I hope I will not be associating it with the dog type from now on...

I generally refer to Dane and Cyan as Great Dane and AquaGirl.....

AquaGirl being a double entendre as cyan and aqua are similar shades of blue and because she is more at home in water than air.

Kris: the next word to look up is "subterfuge". Then you will get the joke.
