Pristine 16x8 Enkei RPF1s & Direzza Star Specs

Post by Doug Kott »

SOLD--SOLD--SOLD--SOLD--SOLD!!

I've got two RPF1s to sell...16x8, 4x100 bolt circle, 38 offset, bright silver finish. They come with Dunlop Direzza Z1 Sport Star Spec tires, 225/50-16, that have about 4-5 autocrosses on them. There's about 7/32" tread remaining. Wheels are in fantastic shape...no scratches or curb rash whatsoever. $300 firm for both. Call me at 949 720-5373.

If anyone buys the wheels and doesn't need the tires, I could use them. My rears on the Honda are just about corded. Or if you need two Star Specs the same size at about the same wear, I have your match. Either way, looks like a match made in autox heaven.

Hi George,

I don't want to hassle with de-mounting the tires, but...if you want to have the work done and give me the wheels back, I'll sell the tires for $100. Let me know.

Thanks for the offer Doug. I think I'd rather wait until and buy them after they're dismounted. My concern is that the wheels could be damaged or marred in the removal process thus decreasing their value. I wouldn't want that responsibility. But thank you for the offer. If you should end up dismounting for any reason, I will take the tires so long as I'm in the same situation I'm in now.

Sounds good, George. Maybe whoever buys the set and wants the wheels only can sell you the tires at that point.

I was counting on those tires. I just began cording one of the rears on the way home Sunday. There's only a couple more trips to El Toro left before I hit metal. If I let it go till the metal starts fraying, I could draw blood if I mishandle the tire. If I draw blood, I'd more than likely suck on it so I don't get blood all over the place. If my hands are dirty, I might catch some sort of disease. Health insurance the way it is, I'd probably want to go to a clinic for treatment. Do to the crappy care at the clinic, I'd probably die. Some shyster attorney will see that a young man with a bright future has died and talk my family into filing a wrongful death suit. Sorry Doug. Oh, what to do.

That is a tragic chain of events, and I am completely guilt ridden. But Tire Rack has lots of fresh Star Specs that Joey can buy (if he wants to run a street tire) with his 8-figure inheritance!
