There must be something to it, National entry for FStock:

141 Strano, Sam 2011 Ford Mustang Gry Strano Performance Parts/Summit Mtg Hoosier
Knoxdale, PA

Sam is getting ready to sell those things that are needed (shocks for FStock)-------it will be fun to watch.

The Boss 302 that's coming is supposed to be considerably faster than the GT on a road race course. Ford says the goal was to run faster laps at Laguna Seca than the M3. Car is significantly different from the GT.

Proof, however, is in the driving, so we'll see.

The new 5.0 is sick. The E92 M3 is a fast track and autoX car, Pobst lapped Laguna Seca at 1:42 on street tires (michelin ps2) with the e92 M3 before the new BMW competition package was available. The Mustang just beat the M3 with competition package fair and square, and there is already a faster Mustang 5.0 coming next year.

It seems like F-stock will need to step up to 5.0 Mustangs, or seriously this Mustang should be moved to B-stock with the Cobra.

They put serious effort into the Boss, including reprogrammed ABS and traction control, which can be turned completely off. Shocks, springs, anti-sway, front brakes all upgrades from the GT. Different intake and exhaust--four exits, including two on the sides just in front of the back wheels. Different cylinder heads.

Usually when I read about another special Mustang my eyes glaze over, but this thing looks worth some attention.

"Special Mustang" that's Latin for Decal Package.
