ChaseCam systems tested by NASA to 100Gs

Post by Randy Chase »

NASA selected ChaseCam as the most rugged video recorder on the market. They then tested the systems to near 100gs of shock. They are still using those same systems for repeated rocket drop testing. We already knew it would survive as we are often crash tested at the track and we continue to record after the crash.

So randy, Elon Musk is getting ready to fly Dragon aboard his Falcon 9, there is talk of compressing the flight test schedule. Of course Elon's other company builds Tesla electeric sports cars. Since there local have you talked to Space X about being aboard the flight? They are set to do their first landing albeit it will be on water.
