Call for Ladies School Instructors - Please RSVP

Post by Lisa Severy »

Update: As of October 25. We now have thirteen (13) confirmed instructors. Please see the list in the "reply" from me, below. I would still like to have more instructors, if possible, to keep the student-to -instructor ratio at 4-to-1 or so. If there are any other women out there who feel that they are qualified, wiling and available on November 27 to instruct at the Ladies School this November, please contact me via e-mail through this web site. We, of course, are hoping that (and counting on) all who have supported this event in the past will step forward and pitch in once again. If there is anyone (female) who wants to help out and instruct this year for the first time, we of course welcome any new qualified instructors. It is important that we know how many instructors we will have in order to determine the structure for this year's event. Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you SOON!
Best regards,
Lisa

Lisa,

I emailed you but did not get a reply - don't know if the address I have is current. Anywho, would you like me to post the event and call for instructors on the PCA-OCR site? The have qualified female instructors. Also, some of their newer members might wish to participate.

Do you need any help? I'll do whatever, including shagging cones.

Updated as of October 25: Thank you to those who have responded to this posting and my e-mail please for help. We are now up to nine with the possibility of a couple more to confirm shortly.
I think we need 10-12 (or more) instructors in order to keep the student/instructor ratio reasonable (we expect ~70 students) - so I am still looking for 3-4 more instructors. If anyone has any ideas on others I may not have considered, please let me know via e-mail. Thank you!

Obviously, we need more instructors to make this work! I kindly ask for a response as soon as possible! Renee and I really need your support! And, of course, the students need instructors!

I would like to hear from (in no particular order) one way or the other:

Kathy Teulie
Katianna Pihakari

If I missed anyone, please forgive me and volunteer anyway!
I look forward to hearing from you soon!

So far I have commitments from the following (Thank you!!!):
Christine Berry
Lisa Berry
Theresa Berry
Lily Liu
Stacy Miller
Yuki Haneda
Carol Beach-Flarherty
Leslie Cohen
Karen Zaterman
Carolyn Counnas
Nicole Nagler
Diana Waer
Lisa Severy

I also thank those who responded even though they can't help this time.

Reserve list:
Jo Ann Lynch (assigned to one student only - at most)

Thank you!
Best regards,
Lisa

Stacey Miller said she'd gladly do it... Assuming her alarming suckatude the past two seasons doesn't scare anybody off. She blames her co-driver.

As much as we enjoy our traditional Thanksgiving autocross weekend, we are going to be a little more traditional this year and go see family.
