Yes, the HD version is in production and will be shipping soon.

I don't really the technical details but ChaseCam SD recordings look as good (often better) than other recorders HD video.

Finally, HD! Sweet.

Now if they can overlay the proper racing line like Gran Turismo does, I'm sold! :D
