images of Saturday 02 12 2011 practice
Hello
I was driving by the autocross and stopped to snap a few images. Everyone was very nice, so I shot about 1200 images. If you are interested you can view, and or purchase them on my web site.

I hope to shoot more on Sunday. This is just a hobby. Comments are welcome.
Thanks for looking
Jerry

Great pics Jerry!
The only thing wrong with them is that they're not of my car
Will you be coming out to more events?

Thanks for all the compliments. I still have about 600 images to sort through and post from Sunday. I will try to make another event. Any suggestions on which event(s) to attend? Thanks everyone for placing orders!!! I was limited to only a couple of corners so I have alot of similar shots. I tried to get a few images of most cars. If I missed posting someone, please give me a car number and I will look for some good ones. Jeff, maybe I will have better luck next time or if you were at the event, let me know.
Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry- It was a pleasure meeting you Sunday. Next event in March we move down to El Toro. Its a little harder to see the whole course there, but it does present some better angle opps usually running in the H of the intersecting runways. You can take shots from off the runway with permission without a spotter.
First week of April we have the San Diego Tour at Qualcomm. Pretty amazing field of cars and the Qualcomm lot lends itself to some good shooting with the hill and concrete barriers you can shoot from behind. The following weekend is the El Toro Pro we host. Drag Race start (Christmas tree and all) and mirrored courses. Again, at the Pro will be an incredible field of top drivers and cars.

Steve
March might work for me at El Toro. April Fools Day weekend I will be in Vegas for the NHRA National Drag Racing. The second week of April is currently open. Thanks for the info. It would be interesting to shoot Qualcom, but I can't make the event.

Jerry-At the practices, you're welcome to borrow a helmet and take a ride along. Might give you a nice perspective on what you're shooting and watching. You have to sign up for a weekend SCCA membership, but its free for passengers.

I should be able to make the Saturday El Toro event scheduled for this weekend. Who would I contact to get permission to shoot from off the runway? How effective would those spots be for good shots? I am guessing I would need a spotter to shoot from the Intersecting H. Rain is forecast for Sunday, but I might be able to make both days.
Thanks for the help,
Jerry
