Terrific. Way to go Bill.
Seem to me this would be a good place to ask folks what it is about AX that keeps them coming back. I'll start it off by say that my Corvette is the only car I've ever owned that is faster than a minivan or station wagon, which for me, covers the past 25-30 years.
What keeps me coming back is the thrill of pushing the car thru all the course segments at the highest speeds I can. What keeps me coming back is knowing that I'm nowhere near the cars limits, but I'm gaining on it. Getting better = having more fun. What keeps me coming back is all of the really nice people I've had the good fortune to befriend in the past 7 years. I've got a huge new support group! I may have the order of importance wrong.
I suppose this list could go on and on, but to my thinking, AX is the only reasonably affordable way to do any form of auto racing. The next levels get much more expensive and time consuming.

Except when you miss track event after track event because you have to work to pay for the track events you hope to eventually attend! The next levels get much more expensive and time consuming.
