The Weather is Great!

Post by George Schilling »

The weather at El Toro is beautiful today. The temperature is very pleasant and the winds are just enough to keep you cool. A perfect day to autox. Four runs today on a great 75 second course. Come on out! 8-)

El Toro was beautiful today, especially with snow capped mountains in the background. Could have used less bugs at the gate, but wind was modest, heat was manageable, and having the catering truck was wonderful, and the news that that just came across the wire makes this a perfect day.

George, you made me feel better. My 75 second run left a lot on the table. Unfortunately I runied my 73 second run getting my foot hung up on both brake and throttle coming through the final turn. Did learn that pouring water on your tires between runs is useful, 4th run the tires were cooked, and I made a mess of it. I am sure there was a high 71 out there for me. Wouldn't have won BSP as I had Marshall slumming with me today.

BTW Marshall it was fun having you play in BSP, the idea of seeing how close I could get to your time was motivating.

I hope they made enough money to make them eager to return.
