Meaning of "Ave"
In reviewing event results and points for the year, I noticed at certain events, "Ave" is entered in what appears to be situation in which only one car entered a respective class at the event. What does this "Ave" mean?

This means that a competitor has requested his average for an approved absence as opposed to taking a zero for the event.Ed Holley wrote:In reviewing event results and points for the year, I noticed at certain events, "Ave" is entered in what appears to be situation in which only one car entered a respective class at the event. Re: Meaning of "Ave"
The average is also given to competitors when, as you noticed, there was only one car competing in the class.George Schilling wrote:This means that a competitor has requested his average for an approved absence as opposed to taking a zero for the event.Ed Holley wrote:In reviewing event results and points for the year, I noticed at certain events, "Ave" is entered in what appears to be situation in which only one car entered a respective class at the event. For more details, you might want to read our region's supplemental regulations, sections 7.2 - 7.4: http://solo2.com/supp_regs/SCCA_Cal_Clu ... s_2011.pdf
