Co-Driver Wanted: National Level STC Civic

Post by Sebastian Rios »

Hello all, I'm looking for someone to co-drive my civic with my Son, David next year.

What I'm looking for is someone willing to help with maintenance, race prep, and hopefully driving tips for David. It would be most convenient for someone that lives close to Corona since maintenance is a part of campaigning a 23 year old econo-car.

I would bring it to local events, the SD Tour, and ET Pro. It would also be available for a second Pro and the Finale/Nationals, but you would have to arrange transportation and tires.

As far as expenses, your time, labor, and a portion of consumables are all that's required. I think I have enough tires to last the season; if not, I would like you to split the cost of additional set(s). Heck, if Honda and Toyo keep up their generous contingency programs, you could make a profit running the thing.

The car is capable of winning. It had a winning history before I bought it, and a lot of second places since (darn you Jeff & Nicole! ). It is fully prepped except for a few small items that I wouldn't mind tackling with your help next season.

Please send me a private message if interested.

You know, I've had a few people tell me my driving style would be well suited to one of these cars...

Good car, wish I could commit. Oh boy did work interfere this last year, who knows what next year will bring. If David is taking this car on, what are you and Shauna driving next year?
