Individual Street Classes to Be the Standard in 2015

Post by George Schilling »

Beginning January 2015, the Cal Club Autocross Region will be mirroring the national standard regarding Street Tire Classes and will no longer offer the S1, S2, and S3 combined index classes.

While the indexed classes served their purpose in year one, the rapid growth of the street classes has made individual classes possible. Input from members played a key role in the decision as they overwhelmingly expressed a preference to compete heads up with other competitors with cars of similar capabilities.

Remember, this change DOES NOT go into effect until January 2015. Be sure to spread the word so no one will be surprised come next year!
