Mako, It's for your own good. You don't want to loose a limb in a rollover accident. Just think of the Def Leppard drummer. These things are cheap insurance.

Pete L also said that one can still download the form and just show up ... after he talked to the organizers. I think he said something like 9 places were still available for the PDX/Time Trail. He's just going to do Sunday ... assuming that there is still room. The Price is competitive, especially if you can do both days. Unfortunately there is only one fee available for both days even if you only run one day.

If you've never done a track day, this is a good introduction. Remember you can just drive as fast as you're comfortable with ... especially if you need to drive home in your car!
