I've seen that one. Hard to tell, but from the cars, I'd say this is someplace in Europe. Definitely should be nominated for a Darwin Award!

It is unfortunate they get titled as autocross videos. That is not autocrossing.

i don't think that guy was doing that intentionally.. i think that's a stuck throttle cable?

It is not uncommon in a drift demonstration.

If you had a stuck throttle, would you get out of the car?

I think most everyone, with a stuck throttle, would turn off the car. :)

I didn't have a stuck throttle, but I was driving a '77 VW Rabbit at Lone Pine when the little clip that connects the secondary throttle plate to the primary fell off, letting the secondary throttle plate go wide open. At first, I thought that the brakes sucked at the end of one of the straightaways, but when I got around the corner, I realized that something was wrong and shut the car off and let it roll to the stop off to the side of the runway.
