FS: 949 Wheels/Hoosier Tires
Four 949 Racing 6UL 15x8" +36mm (4x100) silver wheels with 35 run (40% tread left) 225/45/15 A6's mounted. The wheels have some brake dust residue that didn't come off with a quick rinse, but there is no paint or any other damage to the wheels. A motivated person with some wheel cleaner could make them look new.
$600 ($425 wheels only, $225 tires only)
Four 275/35/15 35 run Hoosier A6's with plenty of tread left.
SOLD

Sean,
Please measure the back space of the rim to hub mounting surface. They might fit for my BMW.
Thank you.

David,
Use my lower chart (from Doug's Scirocco parts book) to calculate back spacing from offset. The upper chart shows the VW A1 wheel numbers. It looks like 8" with ET 35 has a 5.875 backspace. I would need a 19mm - 25mm spacer to run that wheel on my car depending on the tire width.

8" wheels with Greater offset and stretched tires can help the tire clear "some" of the rub points. See the illustration above.

Doug,
Thank you for the info. I will once again retreat to my mountain longing for a set of rims that does not require a year of peanut butter sandwiches for lunch. Ya, I know, good luck
But now I know what I am looking for, 15X9 with a -19 off set. I have the Turbo flares on my 2002.

David,
Spacers are your friend. If the bolt pattern works, you could achieve that 19 offset with a 17mm spacer.
