Re: Kudo's to Team Blew

I had the faster time but Nick beat me when it counted. He improved a hell of lot from his first run Saturday morning, maybe I should have kept my mouth shut.I spent most of the weekend trying to figure how to drive his car, I'm amazed at how completely different it is to my e30, it felt more like a...

Have you seen a Porsche key or did you tech late today?

The one and only key to a Porsche went missing today at El Toro as many of you probably heard, it's still missing. We have looked absolutely everywhere we can think of. The key belongs to Angie Kern. She was working tech in the morning, getting in and out of lots of cars. Now, she had key at least u...

Re: Tech workers for 5/2 Team Blew Champ

Tech is full, Adrian- thank you but I have all I need. Mike- I can only give you a work credit, but Tony is welcome to hang out and learn how to do it for future events.

Re: Tech workers for 5/2 Team Blew Champ

Being new is fine, I can give you the notes. You will still have an opportunity to get your walks in and it will count as your work assignment. Try to be there around 6:30.

I still need one more person

Re: Course Setup Volunteers Needed Friday

The course is pretty much ready, grid and tech are lined up, the start and finish are ready to go, and the trailer is disconnected and out of the way. I think it just needs lining and the cones chalked

Koni doubles from TcKline, although I'm still waiting on them :D
I don't think they'll make it to the first event because I have to custom build the housings and then get it aligned/balanced

Re: What do you think of this video camera?

I've had the original SD version for a while and I would call it OK. The big problems I have with it are the sound quality, the battery life, and the memory it requires. The sound is basically worthless no matter what setting you use if inside the car with the windows up, but it sounds like they hav...

Re: The one that got away.

The same thing kind of happened to me. I beat Theo by what I thought was enough to make up the nine points I needed to win STX, but when the drops came into play it didn't make a difference
Congrats Theo, hopefully next years battle will be as good as this years was

Re: Roll Bar Rules

Thanks for all the responses :) A noodle wrapped bat does not sound enjoyable. I am probably gonna go with a 4pt bolt in bar. I don't have a tow vehicle or a place to store a trailer right now so the full cage is out. If I reach that point, I can always just pull the 4pt out and sell it. The backsea...

Roll Bar Rules

I'm interested in putting a 4pt roll bar in my e30 BMW after witnessing a pretty bad crash last weekend, but i'm a little confused on the rules. I've gone through the rule book a few times but the roll bar/cage rules are really vague. All it basically says is that roll bars and full cages are legal ...

Not sure what model your Bavarian is Matt, but M3Gee in honor of the great Ultimate Driving Machine anyways ;)
Nice catch, I didn't even notice. Mine is not an M3 though, it's a 325i. We like the name

STX is not listed on the run/work order list. We ran second last time, am I right in assuming we will run 3rd, work 1st at this event?

I got my R1R's in 225/45/15 from JLB motorsports too. They didn't have them in stock when I called but they called me back two days later with them in hand.
