Good ol' Las Vegas International Speedway (aka L-VIS.) Wonder if it's still there?Dan Shaw wrote:427 was the date of my very first track day at Vegas Motor Speedway on April 27. Car lasted for around 2 sessions before the lower alternator bolt disappeared and the belt could barely spin the water pump. I wouldn't figure that out until I was driving back home and we pitstopped at the diner we stopped at on the way there. Taught me to always use locking nuts/fasteners on high vibration components when replacing factory equipment.
That outside track was very fun. Did many Solo 1 events there when LVR was running them before they moved to Spring Mountain in Pahrump, in both a 510 and a 240Z. Looks like that track is still there although quite a bit added to it since I ran it.Steve Lepper wrote:Good ol' Las Vegas International Speedway (aka L-VIS.)
