Hey, it's only broken once.

It's just taking forever to figure out exactly what it is that's broken! The engine is now spread all over my kitchen counter.

Do they make "crate" shifter kart motors? If they do, what do they ship them, in a shoe box?

Donald Duck's license plate number is 313. That is derived from his birthday that is March 13th.

Car lasted for around 2 sessions before the lower alternator bolt disappeared and the belt could barely spin the water pump. I wouldn't figure that out until I was driving back home and we pitstopped at the diner we stopped at on the way there. Taught me to always use locking nuts/fasteners on high vibration components when replacing factory equipment.

As for me, several of our old race cars used the number 55, and the rest had some combination with a 3 in it (33, 13, 339.) 355 just happened to be available when I signed up.

That outside track was very fun. Did many Solo 1 events there when LVR was running them before they moved to Spring Mountain in Pahrump, in both a 510 and a 240Z. Looks like that track is still there although quite a bit added to it since I ran it.

talked with GRA guys and they said the section where that pic was taken didn't exist for a while. used to be a long right hander...I guess too many people went off/drove into the pit wall so they put the switchbacks in before the main straight. They called it the 'classic' track? Forget the exact name we were given for it when we ran it (MR2 club had an event/trackday we did at LVMS) but I recall it being called the "classic 1.2/1.4? mile road course".
